4 kids age, 12, 10, 6, 4
- How long have you lived in the area and what made you decide to live here?
I have lived in West Orange for 8 years. We moved from NYC to have more space for kids to run around.
3.Tell us about your business and what other local things you are involved in! And how did you get started?
Essentially Nourishing is a brand that makes health and wellness easily accessible. After going through my own health journey and cleaning up certain aspects of mine and my families life I was inspired to help others. I started sharing essential oils and now have added a full line of delicious and healthy dessert. It is so important to enjoy some sweets, but makes it so much better when the ingredients nourish your body as well. I offer over 30 varieties of healthy baked goods, which are all gluten free, paleo, refined sugar free, dairy free and certified kosher. Imagine being able to give your kids desserts that they love and don’t even realize they are healthy!
4.Favorite thing to do when you need “me time”?
Exercising, spending time outside and reading
5.Favorite place for dinner with kids?
We don’t go out to dinner, we are kosher so we mostly eat at home.
6.Most enjoyable place to hang out?
Outside
7.How do you balance your career and being a mom?
Before the pandemic, I would do most of my work during the day and after the kids went to sleep at night. Now it’s more of a juggling act and definitely more challenging!

When kids show kindness to others.
